For over 60 years Valerie Taylor has been advocating for marine wildlife.

The film maker and pioneer marine conservationist has filmed the oceans for movies and documentaries and taken part in risky scientific research to protect sharks and other marine dwellers.

She joined 2SER Breakfast before the Sydney premier of Ocean with David Attenborough to discuss her own stellar career documenting the underwater world and ongoing environmental issues we need to address to protect our oceans.
