The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare released its report on palliative care services around Australia, showing these services are making patients feel better.

But with palliative care needs on the rise, the specialist palliative doctors are decreasing, creating a gap in these services.

Palliative Care Australia is urging the Commonwealth and State governments to fund appropriately palliative care services to provide the best care possible to patients.
