Pope Francis, who died on Easter Monday at age 88, leaves behind an impactful, and at times controversial legacy as a transformative figure.
During his 12 years as pope, he focused on themes of environmental responsibility, social justice and a more consultative model of church leadership.
The Wire’s Calvin Lee asked the National Head of the School of Theology at the Australian Catholic University, Associate Professor Joel Hodge, what Pope Francis’s most transformative contribution to the Catholic Church was.
