Press Club evolve into their true form

Melbourne’s Press Club began the way a lot of Australian bands do, jamming away to their heart’s content in a garage in Brunswick. In the years since they’ve become one of the most respected punk-rock acts in the country, off the back of three incredible records – their debut Late Teens, Wasted Energy, and Endless Motion, which arrived in 2022 to a landslide of critical acclaim.

The band have now returned with their fourth record, To All The Ones That I Love. It’s undeniably Press Club – frenetic, shifting, emotional punk rock, but it also pushes at their boundaries more than ever before.

As always, it’s an epic listen, destined to be one of the best Australian albums of the year. We welcomed drummer Frank Lees to the Tuckshop Takeaway to chat through how it all came together.
