Radio broadcasts turn 100

This year marks 100 years since the advent of organised broadcast radio where it has long become one of the most influential mediums in the media landscape. Throughout the past 100 years, there have been significant events to radio broadcasts such as the hindenburg disaster and the start of the space race. Dr Bridget Griffen-Foley, Professor in the Department of Media, Music, Communication and Cultural Studies at Macquarie University discussed this commemoration further with us.
