‘Flushing’ Blocked Fallopian Tubes Can Improve Fertility

Since 1917 doctors have performed a technique which involves flushing the fallopian tube to diagnose and help with infertility. It has been purely a diagnostic technique with but a recent study shows that it could actually be improve fertility. This technique could help tens of thousands of women avoid the need for and also the extensive costs of IVF. So how does this procedure work? The Daily was joined by one of the researchers behind the study, Robert Norman a Professor of Reproductive – Periconceptual Medicine at the University of Adelaide.
