Recurring Dreams – Tangerine Dream on 2SER Breakfast

They changed the course of electronic music, they’ve scored cult classics and they’ve pushed the boundaries of ambient, psychedelic rock and synth – they are Tangerine Dream, returning to Eora Sydney for the first time in over 40 years, for a special performance at Vivid Sydney 2025.
Formed in 1967 by the late visionary Edgar Froese, Tangerine Dream has influenced generations of artists and remain pioneers of electronic music.
The current lineup, of Thorsten Quaeschning, Hoshiko Yamane and Paul Frick, handpicked by Froese before his passing, continues to carry the band’s legacy forward, blending analog synths, hypnotic rhythms and cinematic soundscapes in a way only they can.
Catch Tangerine Dream live at the City Recital Hall, Wednesday 11 June.
