Refugee Week
It’s Refugee Week this week, and quite a special one too!
Later this year, Australia is expected to grant its one millionth refugee visa since 1947. It’s a time to contemplate the triumphs of refugees, as well as the ongoing issues that many displaced people face. Adama Kamara, the Deputy CEO of the Refugee Council of Australia joined the Wednesday Daily to discuss Refugee Week, its theme for 2025, and the work being done by the Refugee Council.
