Sam Smith: CAPTURE at UNSW Galleries

Listen back to Sally chatting to Australian artist and filmmaker Sam Smith about his exhibition CAPTURE at UNSW Galleries.

The exhibition includes four moving image projects from the past decade as well as a new commission that explores relationships between geology, technology and environment.

Curated by José Da Silva, ‘Capture’ covers the breadth of Smith’s practice to date. It includes works which combine experimental video and documentary practices by interweaving speculative fictions with historical data. It also explores the way moving images can manipulate our sense of time and space.

Exhibition: 7 May- 31st June 2021

Entry: Free

Opening Hours: 10am-5pm Tuesday-Saturday
