Save Batemans Sanctuaries: The Fight For South Coast Marine Protection

The Batemans Marine Park on the NSW South Coast was established in 2013 to help manage fishing and its impacts on marine biodiversity. An important part of the park are the marine Sanctuary Zones, which provide refuge for fish to grow and breed. Bill Barker is the spokesperson for the Save Batemans Sanctuaries Campaign and he caught up with our producer Stef Posthuma to tell us about the importance of marine protection and how the campaign is going.
