School Textbooks and Misrepresentation of Indigenous Australians
New research into our representations of Aboriginals in Australian school textbooks has revealed that Australia is still implied as a ‘white’ nation. Our textbooks for many students provide an inherent model for understanding their place in our nation so without a proper and equal representation, these students often perform worse academically.
