Sexism in Politics – Dutton & Briggs
Sexism in politics is a concept that’s been around longer than Julia Gillard’s misogyny speech, and in the last week we had two examples of it. Peter Dutton managed to send a text describing a reporter as a “mad witch” to that very reporter, and Jamie Briggs allegedly leaked a photo of a female diplomat who made a complaint about him. Dr Lauren Rosewarne, Senior Lecturer from the University of Melbourne joined The Daily to talk more about sexism in politics.
