Shepherds Strive to Save Our Seas
While commercial whaling has been banned since 1986, Japan has continued the practice under provisions set for ‘scientific research’. This is where Sea Shepherd, a conservationist organisation, are making waves in order to protect the world’s oceans and its wildlife. They have pledged to continue fighting against the Japanese whaling industry in spite of the recent US court ruling aimed to prevent conservationist groups from attacking whaling ships. Adam Burling joined Nic to discuss Sea Shepherd’s dedication to the whales and all ocean life.
