Six Spoons in June

You might have a sweet tooth, but have you ever stopped to think how harmful those midday brownie snacks really are? Currently, the World Health Organisation recommends sugar intake to only 6 teaspoons per day for health benefits and to honour this, 6 Spoons in June, is an annual campaign that challenges everyone to limit added sugar to the recommended amount.

But how much over the limit are we going? Regular Breakfast Host Tess Connery spoke earlier with Angela Emmerton, clinical nutritionist and the NSW ambassador for That Sugar Movement.
