Sol Lewitt: Affinities and Resonances exhibition

American conceptual artist, Sol Lewitt’s famous piece Wall Drawing #955: Loopy Doopy (red and purple) is brought to life both physically as a painting on the entrance wall of the gallery and in a twist, resonates through 3 original music pieces created and influenced by the artwork.

Annie from the Monday Daily spoke with American musician Chuck Johnson and Yuin musician JWPATON, who are the composers behind the original piece ‘Tangled Mirror Yarn’. A 36 minute piece, curated to accompany the artwork.
