Sustainable Fashion in Australia’s Cotton Industry

From waste and runoff at farms, to exploitation in factories, to wasteful behaviour with trends of ‘fast fashion’ meaning people buy more clothes than they need, the fashion industry has problems all throughout its’ supply chain. Sustainable Fashion has been a growing global movement, seeking to address these problems, by altering practices to reduce waste and abuse.

We spoke with Sarah Clarry from Cotton Australia and Gordon Renouf from GoodOnYou to learn more about how Australia’s industries are adjusting to improve their sustainability, and what you can do to contribute to this growing movement in the industry.
