Sydney contemporary art fair at Barangaroo

Once again, Barangaroo has been visited by the art gurus from Sydney Contemporary, the annual art fair. While the fair is now over, some large-scale sculptures and installations are lingering a little longer over at Barangaroo, and their worth a day-out.

Works by Australian artists, Callum Morton and Cameron Robbins are on display, and one of the sculptures, we are very excited to say, is of Donald Trump’s head.

Putting aside this opportunity to inspect the famous atomic-blonde quiff, (and all the secrets that lay within), the sculptures at the site explore concepts like the forces of nature and the relations between history and the present.

Tess spoke with the fair’s director, Barry Keldoulis, to find out more about these installations, the fair, and their importance for art in Australia
