Sydney Film Festival : FRIENDS AND STRANGERS

We were joined by Rebecca Lamond, one of the producers of a very interesting film and an official selection of the 68th Sydney Film Festival, Friends and Strangers. On the surface, Friends and Strangers comes across as a comedic-drama, following directionless twenty-somethings as they navigate a series of seemingly random, unimaginative situations. But if you take a closer look you’ll find that it carries with it a lot of subtext by commenting on the millennial lifestyle and things we conveniently chose to leave unaddressed as a society.

With completely sold out shows at the Sydney film festival screenings, the film is now available to stream online on Mubi.
