Sydney’s Historic Buildings Under Threat

Recent development projects in Sydney have cost the city key heritage buildings as well as cultural spaces, according to one Sydney academic

 

The iconic Sirius building was under threat by developers in 2016 when the government did not grant it heritage protection but pressures from community stopped it from going ahead.

 

Now, the Sydney Dance Company’s building in Ultimo is under threat as new developers want the facility knocked down.
