Taking a Growth Mindset Approach at Work
The holidays are over and it’s time to get back into the daily work grind. However for some, if not many, returning to work can bring about a lot of stress and frustration, particularly if you are working in a job you don’t like. Even those who you would say are working in their dream job still speak of feelings of being stuck and anxious upon returning to work. But why exactly do so many of us feel this way? What can we do to redirect our mind and thinking to the point where we can comfortably and happily enjoy doing what we do. This morning we were joined by Professor Jill Klein, social psychologist at the University of Melbourne who discussed the growth mindset theory and channelling this into our attitudes towards work.
