The Deadly Science Project- STEM Resources for Remote Australian Schools

Many students have felt the frustration of not being able to find the right reading material for a science project they’re working on, but what if your school district has only 15 books to share amongst 350 students? 

This was the situation that Kamilaroi man, Corey Tutt encountered on a trip to a remote Indigenous community four hours north of Katherine, in the Northern Territory. 

The Daily’s Victor Petrovic spoke with Corey about the experience, how it prompted him to launch his innovative Deadly Science project and the importance of partnerships with organisations like Science and Technology Australia.
