The 50th anniversary of the Moon landing has come and gone, making us wonder, what’s the next big step for mankind? Finding aliens? If only! Well Australia’s done its fair share in space, from launching a satellite at Woomera to helping a rover land on Mars. We’ve contributed a lot over the years, and there’s only growing excitement for our national space industry.

The Daily was joined by Professor Andrew Dempster, Director of the Australian Center for Space Engineering Research to give us a deeper insight into Australia’s developing space industry.
