Sydney Craft Week is coming up and it’s time to stimulate those creative juices by working with our hands. Combining age-old artistic expression from eco-friendly fashion to woven tapestries, The Japan Foundation is at it yet again with an exciting new exhibition, “The Intuitive Thread”.

Learn about natural color dyeing methods and hand-woven works from four artists who will introduce you to their enduring Japanese aesthetic. Running alongside this exhibition will also be a screening of the film, Weaving Shibusa, a workshop and a talk.
