The Wire’s 2 SER FM turned 40 today, joining Radio Adelaide on the slippery middle aged slope, with 4EB also hitting the four oh pretty soon.
In those 40 years much has been accomplished, and current affairs has been at the forefront. Along with breaking new Australian music, we have broken many new stories, much of it on The Wire. We talk with ex volunteers Shadow Minister Tania Plibersek MP, Richard Kingsmill Triple J Group Music Director and Robbie Buck ABC Sydney breakfast co-host.
