The Monday Daily Gig Guide
For another installment of the Monday Daily’s local gig guide, Oscar and Jarred gave a re cap of some of the shows they caught on the weekend and discussed some of the must see gigs coming up this week:
Cosy Bosom Single Launch 22/01
First up this week Jarred we have Cosy Bosoms single launch at the Vic on the park hotel in the magnificent Marrickville, the show will be kicking off at at 10pm, the show is free but it’ll be first in first served, however if you miss a spot there’s no need to worry as the show will be live streamed from the screens in the lovely outside courtyard area.
Cosy Bosom are the perfect mix of Sinister reggae and spooky ska, it’ll 100% be a fun show! You’ll be popping up from your seats and you may see myself there!
Next up are Peel the following night, at yep you guessed it! It’ll be held at The Vic on the park hotel with the same ticket rules as Cosy bosom, so get in quick for this one.
Peel are definitely one of my favourite up and coming Sydney bands, if you are a fan of bands like New Order, Ride and my bloody valentine then these guys are the band for you. Their debut single memory loop is a song I’ve just been playing over and over…. Three words: shoe gaze heaven.
Now to finish up the week there is another instalment of the wonderful Sunday setlists, at the the factory theatre, once again in Marrickville. The evening of bands will run from 5:30pm – 10:30pm with Boys Club, Crash & The Crapenters, Shit Tinnies and Operation Ibis all gracing the stage. All great up and coming bands who are well worth seeing and hey you never know you might run into myself or Jarred.
