Well today was the coldest morning of the year and also the shortest! The sun didn’t rise until 7am and in Australia’s coldest capital until 7.42am! By the time you read this, it will have already set. But what exactly is the Winter Solstice? And why does it happen? We had Dr. Andrew Jacob, Astronomer and Curator at the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences, and who works at the Sydney Observatory, join us to answer these questions!
