This Day in History, February 5th

If time really is a circle, you’ll be prepared for all of these to come around again, on February 5th in 62AD an earthquake rocked the towns of Pompeii and Herculaneum in what seems to be a taste of things to come. The largest alluvial gold find on record, a nugget by the name of Welcome Stranger, was discovered in Moliagul, Victoria, and US President Donald Trump was acquitted in his (first) impeachment trial. Plus we celebrate birthdays for William S. Burroughs, HR Giger, Cristiano Ronaldo, Chris Barron of Spin Doctors and Cory Wells from Three Dog Night!
