This Day in History, March 12th

Astral projecting ourselves back through the mists of time on March 12th to witness wonders such as the Ostrogoths abandoning their siege of Rome only to be hit from behind as they retreated by Roman general Belisarius. Australia’s first attempt at political assassination failed to go to plan, Edith Cowan became the first woman elected to an Australian parliament, and the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant explodes and releases radioactivity into the atmosphere, unfortunately not resulting in any sightings of giant, radioactive lizards. Plus birthdays for Liza Minnelli, Aaron Eckhart, Graham Coxon of Blur, and James Taylor!
