This is Sirius

Three years ago the residents of the iconic Sirius building in Millers Point were told they were being relocated and the building was to be sold. From that point there has been huge response from the community in support of heritage protection for the building, with protests, crowd funding campaigns, and now an art exhibition, titled This is Sirius opening this Thursday 8 June at the Annie Wyatt room, National Trust, Observatory Hill.

This is Sirus brings together a number of artists and designers inspired by the building and the impact that these changes have had on the community. We chat with one of those artists, Fayeroze Lutta, who has put together a zine of interviews with two of the residents and telling the story of their displacement.
