Thousands Rally In Support of Christchurch Terror Attack Victims

Last Friday the world was shocked by the news that a terrorist gunned down 50 people in two separate Christchurch mosques. A further 36 people remain in Christchurch hospital, 12 of whom are in a critical condition.

The shooter, Brenton Tarrant, is a suspected white supremacist and has been charged with murder as well as 3 people who have been arrested following the police operation on Friday.

Yesterday, Sydney siders protested against Islamophobia, marching through the city to show their support for the victims of the appalling Christchurch Massacre.

Sara Saleh, an Arab-Australian human rights activist, was a speaker at the rally. She joined us on The Daily.
