Thumbs Up New App

In this day and age, our smart phone applications can pretty much do it all. We can figure out what song a local café is playing, we can see how late our bus is going to be and now, we can scan our food products to see if what we are eating is healthy for us or not.

Thumbs Up is an organization that started in 2007, that is helping the Aboriginal Communities make better healthier lifestyle choices. Thumbs Up uses music and videos as a way to encourage the Aboriginal community to make the right choices.

Now, 10 years later, and to keep up with new technology, a new application has launched that is designed to help the Aboriginal Community learn more about the food they are eating!

Monica Samayoa spoke to CEO Graham “Buzz” Bidstrup to tell us more about Thumbs Up.
