Transitional Housing for Women Fleeing Domestic Violence

On November 1st international flights landing in NSW increased for the first time since March 2020, but does this mean international students will be coming back to Oz?

According to recent headlines, it could take up to a couple of years to see international student numbers return to their pre-COVID levels.

So what is happening with all the student accommodation they lived in? 

Well, the City of Sydney Council is putting it to great use. Deputy Lord Mayor, Jess Scully, chatted to Breakfast’s Willy Russo about how City of Sydney plans to use the empty student accommodation as transitional housing for women fleeing domestic violence.
