Until The Sky Falls Down On Me

Until the sky falls down on me is an exhibition from Kieran Butler about unrequited longing to get closer to your own ancestral history, homelands and family. This work speaks to those who struggle with their own personal identity in a society where one’s ancestral ties are long forgotten.

Nicole spoke with Kieran about their inspiration for the exhibition and how they blended together themes of cultural identity, queerness, and climate change to create a work that speaks out to those longing for closure.

Until the sky falls down on me, Peacock Gallery and Auburn Art Studios, 2nd Nov 1:30pm-3:30pm, FREE tickets available here.
