Untold Tales of Bread

Bread has continued to be a staple ingredient in households and has spanned centuries due to its simplicity and indispensability. In the 19th century, bread crumb was just as important as the bread loaf and proved to be a very handy ingredient when gone stale. Stale bread has the ability to absorb moisture beautifully and can create a thicker soup or a robust Christmas Pudding.
