Update: Royal Banking Commission extends investigation

The Royal Banking Commission further investigates misconduct surrounding Australia’s major banks. The hearings revealed dodgy commission structures, predatory lending, over-charging, turning a blind eye to possibly funding terrorists, and indicting deceased people with bank fees. In the wake of these revelations the CEO of AMP Craig Meller announced his resignation. 2SER was joined by Dr Alan Montague from RMIT University to discuss what this means for the future of our major banks, and the Australian Government’s response.
