Urban Farming On An Abandoned Bowling Green

Despite increasing urban density and demand for property in Sydney, there are still unused spaces scattered around the city. A group of passionate farmers and permaculture gurus are wanting to put these spaces to good use by growing seasonal food and educating the community about sustainable farming.

Michael Zagoridis, the co-founder of Pocket City Farms, joined Nic on Breakfast to talk about the social benefits and logistical challenges of urban farming from their trial site at the abandoned Camperdown Bowling Club.
