How much data do we give up without knowing? Whether it’s using your Coles Loyalty Card at the supermarket or Googling on the Internet, your data and what you are doing is collected in order to target you as a consumer. But what happens with an overwhelming amount of data and how are decisions made? Nic spoke with Dr Stephen Woodcock and Professor Anthony Dooley about big data and the paradox of probability to promote their upcoming talk at UTS on November 16th.
