Video On Demand: Where is it Now?

It’s been about a year since the video on demand streaming wars began in Australia, with the launch of Stan, Presto, and Australian Netflix. In order to dominate, services need to attract the biggest audience through their exclusive content. So, it seems an obvious market to vie for would be the disabled audience, but it has largely been ignored by on-demand services. Why don’t Australian video streaming services offer accessibility options and should they be required to? To discuss this further, Dr Mike Kent, Head of the Department of Internet Studies and Curtin University joined us on The Daily to discuss this topic.
