Virtual Reality, Widening Access to Remote Health Care

For those suffering from poor mental health, therapy sessions can be an important method to cope with the normal stresses of life. For those living in remote or rural areas, it can become difficult to access these important or even life-saving mental health services. To narrow this gap in access, recent research has looked into the potential of VR technology for conducting therapy sessions.

To talk about this research we were joined by Shiva, Associate Research Fellow from the University of Wollongong, Faculty of Engineering & Information Science.
