Marri Dyin Celebrates First Nation Women
A giant glowing female figure will be the guiding light on the foreshore of Barangaroo for the 2019 Vivid Sydney Festival. The illuminating figure known as Marri Dyin is one of the largest artistic creations of its kind constructed in Australia. Marri Dyin means Great Woman and her presence at the Vivid Sydney Winter Camp installation is to highlight the strength and spirit of Australia’s First Nation women.
