Voluntary Assisted Dying Bill: NSW

Last night the Upper House failed to pass a bill that would legalise voluntary assisted dying to terminally ill patients over the age of 25. The results came in close with 19 in support and 20 against the legislation. So what were the main protests against the bill? Will it be reintroduced? How will the result affect legislation in other states? The Daily was joined on the line by Shayne Higson Vice President of Dying with Dignity to discuss what these results will mean for NSW.
