W.I.T.C.H – Hope Peace and Havoc

From defining the Zamrock sound in the 1970s, to crafting futuristic sounds in 2025, Zambian outfit W.I.T.C.H continue to break new ground as a collective. Their latest album, Sogolo is genre-bending monster of heavy riffs, explosive energy and improvised experimentation (and the feature album this week on 2SER).
Sean Hatzi of Wednesday Drive spoke with founding members Emanyeo “Jagari” Chanda and Patrick Mwondela, direct from on-tour in London, to find out about Sogolo, the meaning behind the album and how they continue to be drive forward and improvise for a new generation.
