Film: La Cocina (The Kitchen)
Based on the 1957 stage play The Kitchen by Arnold Wesker, this comedy-drama follows 24 hours in a large upscale tourist trap restaurant in Time’s Square, with a downstairs kitchen run by mostly illegal Latin Americans and Arabs. The story mostly focuses on the relationships between the characters, as well as $300 dollars that were stolen from the restaurant’s cash register. The movie is also shot entirely in black and white aside from a few moments in colour

Television: Presumed Innocent
Presumed Innocent is a legal thriller based on the 1987 novel of the same name that was adapted into a 1990 film staring Harrison Ford. The TV series follows Rusty Sabbich (Jake Gyllenhaal), a prosecutor who becomes the prime suspect in a murder case when its revealed he was having an afair with the victim.

Television: The Diplomat
The Diplomat is an American political thriller TV series that centres on Kate Wyler (Keri Russell), the new United States ambassador to the UK, as she helps diffuse national crises, forges strategic alliances and adjusts to her new place in the spotlight. The most recent season focused on a conspiracy to frame Russia and the UK for a false flag operation.

Music: Losin’ – Colin Miller
Colin Miller is the drummer from Wednesdays and ML Lenderman, and has released his second album Losin’. The album is short and sweet, full of melancholy and beautiful melodies linked to classic Americana and pedal steel drums.
