In honour of World Chocolate Day, food writer Tristan Lutze paid homage to the ubiquitous (and addictive) sweet and explained why it deserves its own day of celebration. Businesses across Sydney are holding wacky cocoa-laden events, including the chocolate spa where you can get a chocolate foot rub, massage and body scrub. One cafe chain is offering to drizzle chocolate onto any item brought into their stores for free, from bikes to fidget spinners. Tristan also weighed in on the merits of carob for chocolate naysayers.
