Western and Aboriginal astronomy share much in common

In National Science Week, we look at scientific research happening at the moment, and the community is able to understand more about it.

Aboriginal astronomy is closely linked with Aboriginal stories about their culture and connection.

Kirsten Banks is a Wiradjuri woman who is an astrophysicist and a science communicator. Her passion is looking at the stars and studying the outer space to communicate what happens there to the community.
