Frustration about having no affordable place to live & inabiliity to plan for owning a home, made the youth votes switch. The Labour Party may still be at least a seat short to rule by majority but Western Sydney can save them.

The seat of East Hills, is reclaimed, Paramatta finallly landed with them too and Leppington to boot.  What’s next? Dr Marks from Western Sydney agrees there’s small percentage swing towards the Animal Justice Party and Legalise Cannabis Party.

The Independents could come in too if the new government fails to tick off the housing and rent problem from the youth list.  Interviewee: Dr Andrew Marks, Lecturer, Economy, Finance and Property, University of Western Sydney.
