What Caused The Bridge Collapse in Genoa?

On Tuesday, a section of the Morandi Bridge in Genoa collapsed, tragically killing 39 people. As the search for bodies and clean up efforts continue, recently elected Italian politicians and the international community alike are left searching for answers at just how this happened and just who is to blame. Professor in Civil Engineering at the Queenslander University of Technology, Tommy Chan, joined us on The Daily to discuss the engineering implications of this disastrous event.
