Co-op shops were a popular business model in previous centuries and now they are slowly making a comeback with their community focus appeal. Co-ops are being reintroduced with the aim of offering an alternative to for-profit business models which will hold greater appeal to a society described as being disillusioned by corporate corruption and greed.
