Wine of the Week
2022, Mac Forbes ‘ Hugh’, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Yarra Valley, Victoria
Often hailed as one of Australia’s premiere Pinot Noir regions, Yarra Valley produces some exquisite examples of Cabernet based wines. This traditional left bank inspired blend shows off all the great features of Bordeaux with a highlight of Aussie flair. Dark berries, dried herbs, and spices on the nose with fine grained and sinewy tannins. Whilst you can drink now, hide this away and wait at least five years, it will comfortably age for at least 20 and that patience will be rewarded
