A working model of the world

Making models is essential, whether it be in architecture, economics, sciences, sociology or even art. We use them to contemplate, experiments, invent and even teach.

A Working Model of the World is the new exhibition at the UNSW galleries, that explores our various uses of models in production, creation and generally in our human experience.

Curator of the project Dr Lizzie Muller spoke to Sophie about the exhibition, charismatic objects and the history of modelling.
